Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift price, variants explained

The much anticipated facelift for the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has just been launched, with prices starting from Rs 7.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), for the entry-level variant. With the facelift, Maruti Suzuki has also made its compact SUV a petrol-only model, as the BS4 1.3 diesel engine has been discontinued.

As we’ve said before, the new Brezza has Maruti’s 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K15B petrol engine (also seen in the Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6) that produces 105hp and 138Nm of torque. In terms of gearbox options, the engine comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic unit, with the latter getting Suzuki's SHVS mild-hybrid system.

Design wise, the compact SUV comes with a re-worked front end that features a new grille design, new bumper and new headlights. Barring the new alloy wheels, the sides have been left more-or-less untouched. The only change round back is the new bumper.
